A group for those who like to 'Talk the Talk and Walk the Walk'. Based in Sydney, we hold walking and hiking adventures, mainly in National Parks, where the objective is not to be fastest, but to have an enjoyable time on the way; and afterwards. We do not leave people behind by 'regrouping' at regular intervals. Where possible, we include an option to 'bail out' early for those feeling the strain. We encourage 'social' walks and try to start the day with a cappuccino 'fix'. Some events have a …

… Hanging Rock (near Blackheath) is one example. National Park Road Rides: Both the Royal National Park and the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park are accessible by train and have paved roads running through them. The Oaks Blue Mountains MTB: This is a fun ride on both firetrails (roads for 4WD vehicles) and single-track (a path). It is mostly downhill and is a good introduction to MTB riding for beginners. The Gong: This is an annual ride for a mere 10,000 people from Sydney to Wollongong. It is 90k …

Join us as we explore the beautiful national parks, coastline and other stunning natural areas in and around sydney. Have a great day out in the great outdoors! Most walks are relaxing and often involve a cafe or pub visit along the way. All walks are graded (by me) in degree of difficultly, and, unless otherwise specified, open for all to attend. Fitness and experience not necessary unless I have graded a walk 'hard' (or worse!). In summer expect walks on the beaches, a swim and perhaps a snork …
Did you ever think it ironic going on bushwalks to enjoy nature and fresh air and yet often we go by car! Since Sydney is the only city in Australia (and the world?) which has rail access to several national parks this group has been set up exclusively for such walks. It also means we get to chat on the train. Of course you may live near one of these walks and not near public transport in which case it would be understandable to drive and meet the rest of us for the actual walk. As well as our o …
